5 Tips for Taking Your Dog to Brunch
Choose a dog-friendly restaurant: Before heading out, make sure to do some research and find a dog-friendly restaurant. Many restaurants have outdoor seating areas where dogs are welcome, so look for places with a patio and be certain to check their pet policies. Better yet, many private dog parks are now offering full menus for humans which would make it a win-win for everyone! Prepare your dog: If your dog isn't used to being around a lot of people or in new environments, it's a good idea to prepare them for the outing. Take them on a walk beforehand to help them burn off some energy so they won’t want to jump on the table to greet everyone when you arrive. If you’re meeting friends who are also bringing their dogs, be mindful that the restaurant doesn’t become a wrestling ring for your happy to see each other pups.
Bring water and treats: Your dog is likely get thirsty while you're out, both from excitement and nervousness.
